Daily responsibilities included observing, inspecting and documenting the restructure of the once dry lake bed in order to reduce air contamination from heavy dust movement. A segmented layout composed of wet lands, reservoirs, reinforced concrete separations, moment slabs, rip-rap, foundations, which required soil sampling, compaction testing, installation of pump stations and supporting plumbing, sampling concrete pours, earth work, shotcrete, tie back walls cast in drilled hole pile as well as construction of ac roadways throughout the entire project separating the specific portions of the layout which included construction of levee style foundations and spillways.

TCM Group Victorville CA National Trails Highway Overhead Project, Victorville CA Construction observation and inspection of this built on grade railway overhead structure included cast in place massive columns, replacing all earth around completed columns, insuring proper soil compactions to reduce settling while construction of the supper structure was completed, verifying all falsework, steel placement was exact according to plans, observing and verifying all concrete to be placed met exact guidelines and time restrictions. responsibilities included daily diaries, inspection summaries, concrete pour documentation, reinforcing steel placement records throughout the entire superstructure, extra work verification, pre stressing verification, all false work and earth work, direct contact with the City of Victorville Engineers and Utilitiy Companies.

Reinforced Concrete Box. Responsibilities included all project documentation and correspondence regarding all phases of the cast in place Reinforced Concrete Box (RCB) with supported Storm Drain system and all of the same tasks listed in the above project. In addition to inspection and confirmation of all reinforcing steel and all concrete placement, some of which included extremely large single shift pours exceeding 2000 cubic yards in a single pour, most of which were overnight work. Shoring and Tie back walls, Shotcrete, formwork and falsework for drain inlets and manhole placement and testing throughout the entire layout, verifying no exposed steel throughout entire structure prior to and following all concrete placement due to the extensive exposure to water in this application was critical. I have also had the opportunity to gain extensive field inspection experience associated with the following highway construction related components: false work erection and removal, CIDH Piles, slip-form barrier rail, moment slabs, sound wall and retaining walls, pilaster placement, pre-cast concrete Pile installation, mechanical butt-joint connections for reinforcing steel, overhead sign foundations and pedestals, and column fiber wrap installation. Governing agency involvement experience includes working relationships with representatives of the Orange County Transportation Corridor (OCTA), as well as Caltrans (who had oversight responsibilities with respect to the construction inspection activities conducted on the SR-22 Widening project).

Responsibilities included construction inspection during construction of the Route 85/Highway 101 North Interchange in Mountain View, California; in addition to the Bailey Avenue Overcrossing of Highway 101 in Morgan Hill, California; and minor involvement in the completion of the Route 152 Widening in Gilroy, California. Construction inspection activities were conducted as a consultant representative of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority; the governing agency responsible for administering various medium to large scale highway improvement projects within the greater South Bay area of northern California. The California Department of Transportation - District 4 was responsible for construction oversight of the Measure B Highway Program, which required that all field construction inspection Activities are conducted in accordance with the current edition of the Caltrans Construction Manual, as well as the Caltrans Standard Specifications and the project Special Provisions. Daily construction related inspection responsibilities included: drill and bond dowels, drill and bond dowels (epoxy cartridge), bridge removal portion, CIDH Pile, CISS Pile, and Precast Concrete Pile construction and installation, reinforced concrete (bridge), and minor concrete minor structure placement for completion of required drainage systems. Structure construction related activities also included a minor amount of stem and soffit grade confirmation prior to reinforced PCC placement, as well as a minor amount of bridge widening experience gained on the Route 152 Widening in Gilroy, California.
