The $14M conservation and renovation of the 11-story Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Atlanta consist of exterior brick veneer and site demolition, interior demolition and interior renovations of existing hotel rooms/suites for Noble Investment Group. .

• Duties included preconstruction, subcontractor contract buyout and award, project budget management and costs control, owner/client relations, project scheduling and coordination, turnover and final closeout.

NEW SOUTH CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Project Manager: Maynard Hartsfield Jackson International Concourse - CNN Concessions, 2/12 to 6/12

The $1M CNN concession build-outs service the Maynard Hartsfield Jackson International Concourse in Atlanta, Georgia. Both CNN build-outs included interactive news and media locations, magazine and book stands, food concession areas and merchandise for the busy international traveler.

• Duties included preconstruction, subcontractor contract buyout and award, project budget management and costs control, owner/client relations, project scheduling and coordination, turnover and final closeout.

NEW SOUTH CONSTRUCTION – Milledgeville, GA

Assistant Project Manager: Riverbend Correctional Facility, 11/10 to 2/12

The $68M Riverbend Correctional Facility construction project is a 1000-bed medium security correctional facility servicing Milledgeville, Baldwin County GA. Project consisted of new construction of the Administrative Building, Support Building, Programs Building, Segregation Building, (6) Cell/Dorm Buildings, (2) Gym Indoor/Outdoor Buildings, Gate house and Maintenance Building.

• Duties included subcontractor buyout negotiations and award. Tracking and review of all subcontractor submittal information, adhering to project specifications, subcontractor change-orders, RFI’s and overall document control.

• Management and control of overall project budget and weekly owner coordination.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope completion for contract closeout.

NEW SOUTH CONSTRUCTION – Folkston, GA

Assistant Project Manager: D. Ray James Prison, 10/10 to 11/10

$4.9M D. Ray James Prison renovation project servicing Folkston County, GA included interior renovations in cell buildings/dayroom areas, installation of new kitchen equipment and replacement of perimeter fencing locks and installation of new razor ribbon wire. Minor renovations performed in segregation areas, re-painting of exterior finishes and roof repairs around correctional facility.

• Monitoring daily subcontractor performance and scope completion.

LIV BY DESIGN INTERIORS, INC. – Alpharetta, GA

Project Manager: 9/09 to 8/10

Project control/management over new residential construction, renovation and interior fit-out.

• Duties also included project /scheduling, coordination and monitoring daily construction activities and progress.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Assistant Superintendent/Project Manager: Cobb County Adult Detention Center, 4/09 to 7/09

The $92M project; preconstruction and construction services for Cobb County Adult Detention Center included construction of a new intake facility, release and transfer area, new visitor center and expansion of their medical infirmary/clinical areas.

• Served as an assistant superintendent, managing and tracking daily subcontractor progress. Duties included generating coordination/progress schedules for the completion of exterior landscape/hardscape areas around the facility.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope completion for contract closeout.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Project Engineer: Emory Candler School of Theology & Center for Ethics, 4/07 to 4/09

The $21M Candler School of Theology and Center for Ethics consisted of 5 floors of office space, classrooms and meeting/conference rooms for both the school of ethics and theology at Emory University.

• Duties included review of subcontractor’s scope s of work, and buyout negotiations. Tracking and review of all subcontractor submittals, specifications, change-orders, RFI’s and overall document control.

• Managed and control of project budget, generating owner/architect approval letters and change orders, coordination of weekly owner’s meetings and owner/architect project close-out.

• MEP Coordination for all HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing installation throughout facility.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope completion for contract closeout.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Pensacola, FL

Project Engineer: Escambia County Courthouse & Block Renovation, 9/04 to 4/07

The 3-phased, $24M Escambia County Courthouse Block Expansion project consisted of a 400+ space pre cast parking deck, 120,000 SF steel framed office building with brick veneer and existing Courthouse Renovation.

• Duties included tracking and review of all subcontractor submittals, specifications, owner/architect change orders, RFI’s and project closeout documents.

• Managed and control of the project budget and overseeing weekly budget reviews with owner reps.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope completion for contract closeout.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Assistant Superintendent: One Symphony Center/1180 Peachtree Building, 2/04 to 9/04

The $180 M, 41-story commercial high rise consisted of 656,000 SF of office space, 25,000 SF of street level retail with an adjacent 1,100-vehicle parking deck structure.

• As an assistant superintendent my duties consisted of maintaining/control of the overall construction schedule, coordinating subcontractor scopes of work for elevated concrete deck pours and building layout.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope completion for contract closeout.

• Recruiting/Interviewing potential job candidates for employment.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Field Engineer: Emory University Winship Cancer Institute, 3/02 to 2/04

The $62M, 261,500 SF comprehensive cancer center included 7 floors of clinical and research space, with an 84 person infusion center, clinical laboratories, pharmacy, women’s diagnostic center, and other multipurpose clinics and offices.

• Duties included scheduling and coordination with subcontractors for interior fit-out and completion of exterior finishes with-in the projects contractual completion dates. Tracking daily construction reports, subcontractor productivity, and final project closeout for owner/architect sign-off.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Atlanta, GA

Estimating Engineer: Atlanta City Courthouse, 1/02 to 3/02

Design/Build/Finance Services on the $60M, 200,000 SF new court facility. The six-story building includes eleven courtrooms, administrative and support areas.

• Estimating and analysis for the pre bidding process of the Atlanta City Courthouse Building.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION – Pittsburgh, PA

Field Engineer (Intern): University of Pittsburgh Multi-Purpose Academic Complex, 1/01 to 12/01

The $30M, 248,000 SF building included 2 levels of underground parking and first-floor retail space. Remaining floors housed offices, classrooms and meeting/conference rooms for the Colleges of Business Administration, Psychology Department, and Computer Science Department.
