Work Experience

1999-2000 I worked @ Huish Detergents, where I started out as an automatic case packer operator. Duties included: loading boxes on the line that fed into the machine, and to keep the glue machine filled, and clear out any jams in the machine using the lock-out tag-out procedure. I was then promoted to Filler Operator. Duties included: running the machine to get production, deal with the computer components of the machine, keep all jams cleared out, and keep hoppers cleaned out to prevent debris from entering the product. I also had to deal with the video jet to insure the proper date was being printed along the bottom of the boxes that passed through, and perform quality checks on an hourly basis to ensure weight content.

2000-2003 I worked in retail for Bob Reed @ Bob’s Exxon, Where I was a cashier. Duties included running the register, dealing with the public, handling money, stocking, doing end-shift paper work, and cleaning. I was laid off due to the store closing.

2003-2004 I done some babysitting for a friend Rachel King.

2004-2005 I worked on my High school Diploma through Penn-Foster High.

2005-2007 I worked for Venture 1 in Yorkville, TN.

Where I first was an assembler putting gaskets on Honda, and Toyota parts.

I then became a mold injection machine operator, where I had to run production, and produce quality parts, along with packing them with the according labels for that specific product. I was then promoted to be part of the quality team where I inspected parts. At the end I was promoted to Lead quality where I had one person under my supervision. I still inspected parts, but also had to take cycle times on the machines running, do hourly checks on the production operators to ensure that they were producing quality parts, keep up with the daily defects, have monthly meetings with all production worker’s to make them aware of what the problems were, and how to keep focused on their jobs.
