• providing a reliable trouble-free and safe operation of all the mechanical types of technological equipment installed such as technological pumps, compressors, ventilation systems and other dynamic equipment, as well as static equipment such as technological pipes, pressure vessels and their internal devices, reactors and their internal devices, technological furnaces, heat exchangers, calorifers, blocking and controlling valves, technological buildings and hoisting cranes;

• ensuring compliance with rules, regulations and technical conditions for operation, inspection and repair of equipment, fittings, pipes, buildings and structures;

• maintenance of operational documentation of all types of the equipment;

• management of staff maintaining the equipment;

• control of compliance with the requirements of industrial and environmental safety;

• generating requisition requests to ensure the process unit has necessary materials, spare parts and tools;

• preparation of drawings of spare parts and rigs in order to manufacture them in the in-plant lathe workshop;

• preparation of required documents for overhauls of the equipment;

• arrangement of preparatory and organizational works during the process of current and capital repairs;

• standing in for Senior Mechanical engineer of the department during his annual leave.
