The primary mission as CFO has been to refinance existing properties, evaluate the feasibility of proposed property acquisitions and develop a new sustainable business model.

The original company, the Laird Norton Trust Company, was founded in 1967 to manage the wealth of old-time Seattle families. The Laird Norton Financial Group was formed in 1994 to hold three operating subsidiaries.
