Have over 25 years experience in piping and design in the chemical, pulp and paper,gas and oil, power and the ethanol industries. As a field engineer, was responsible for overseeing installation and routing of piping and setting equipment, field walkdown and sketching of P&ID’S, Isometrics and Ortho drawings. Worked with client engineers and field supervisors in resolving construction problems. Created models of piping, tanks, vessels, pumps and equipment related to the project under construction on Autocad/CadWorx. Also created Isometric’s for field construction and spool drawings for shop fabrication. Purchased all piping and instruments for project according to engineering standards. As a Project Superintendent, duties included supervision of 60 to 70 office personnel, craft and field supervisors and overseeing all aspects of construction of Ethanol plant. Held daily meeting with field supervisors and safety personnel. Coordinated construction between electrical, civil and mechanical subcontractors. Took part in weekly contractor meetings.

Work history after military service and college years consisted of continuous growth in field and technical training and experience, and additional college courses until making the transition to the engineering field. During those years, worked as pipefitter, boilermaker, fabricator, welder and was a classroom instructor at a welding tech school.
