EXPERIENCE:

EM Solutions Inc. (Mar 2011 –July 2012) Specialty Engineer

• Supported Government contract reviewing documents, test requirements and monthly status reviews for Quality, Reliability and Saftey. Responsible for attending Software Quality audits at the customer site. Reviewed and edited the System Engineering Management Plan.

Orbital Sciences Corporation (Nov 2004 – Nov 2010) Senior Principal Engineer

• For Ground-Based Missile Defense (GMD), performed system requirements verification as acceptance criteria for delivery of each Orbital Boost Vehicle (OBV) rocket booster and avionics module; DOORS requirements verification status was presented in a formal Ship Readiness Review for each delivery.

• Prepared Technical Performance Metrics (TPM) quarterly reports for up to three different missile configurations for GMD. TPMs were monitored and presented as historical measure of key performance criteria. New TPM selection and results for the 2-Stage configurations of GMD were formally presented at PDR and CDR.

• Completed a 3 year effort to independently verify each component of the OBV Boost Vehicle by verifying vendor acceptance test results with system requirements.

• As part of the data review team, analyzed telemetry from GMD missiles during assembly, prior to delivery, and before and after test flights. Rotated to field sites in Vandenburgh AFB, Ft. Greely Alaska, and the Marshal Islands.

• Performed Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties, including estimating and scheduling for the GMD data review effort.

Decisive Analytics Corporation (Oct 2002 – Nov 2004) Senior Engineer

• Enforced technical algorithm data exchange process between the external development teams and end-users for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Advanced Systems (AS) Battle Management team (Project Hercules White Team). Assessed technical readiness of promising phenomenologies and architectures, added new control steps to the Hercules process, and facilitated algorithm reviews. Created and maintained status of algorithm technical capability data for Project Hercules. Responsible for the DoD 5002 Software and Algorithm Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Exit Criteria Checklist.

• Developed threat scenario trajectory files for test input to the MDA Decision Architecture (DA). Developed Project Hercules Algorithm-To-Test (ATT) documentation proposing that the DA algorithms be elevated to Hercules testing.
