Projects:
1) “Oxidative DNA damage and Inflammatory responses in Rheumatoid Arhtritis
Location: Osmania University, Hyderabad, INDIA.
Methods used: Comet assay
Adenosine deaminase
C-reactive protein
The study suggests a possible role of oxidative DNA damage in the pathogenesis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and therefore assessment of ADA,CRP levels along with comet assay could be used for assessing levels of DNA damage as a consequence of oxidative stress for early dietary and therapeutic intervention.
2) Evaluation of STEMI and NSTEMI in association with Epidemiological risk factors in Coronary Atherosclerosis
Location: University of Bridgeport, CT,USA.
Techniques used: ECG
PCR
The project involved epidemiological risk factors effects on coronary atherosclerosis patients, based on dividing patients into STEMI and NSTEMI group followed by K-sheet and observing the cholesterol changes in them.
