Major Projects:

Croton Water Filtration Plant, Bronx, NY (2005-Present): Senior Project Engineer for site preparation work, including 1.2 million cubic yards of soil and rock excavation. Construction cost $113 million. Quality control and inspection of excavations, pile driving, rock and soil anchors, tunneling, site piping, site drainage and project close out. Senior project engineer and Startup/Commissioning Coordinator for construction of new, 290 MGD water treatment plant. Construction cost $1.8 billion. Quality control and inspection of structural concrete and reinforcing steel, and site piping/utilities. Lead civil inspection team, project document control, quantity estimating and payment review and authorization. Coordination between multiple prime contractors, designers and client’s operating bureau for testing, training and startup/commissioning activities. Review and comment on project schedule and contribute to monthly report to client.

Hunts Point WPCP Upgrade, Bronx, NY (2002 – 2005): Project Engineer for upgrade of Hunts Point WPCP Bronx, NY. Construction cost $800 million. Quality Control and inspection of excavations, pile driving, installation of new piping, site drainage, erection of building additions and new pump houses/support buildings, hazardous waste removal, masonry, and roadwork/paving. Responsible for payment review and quantity estimating. Site safety officer for Construction Management staff.

NYCDDC School Programs, Queens, NY (2001 - 2002): Project Engineer coordinating the efforts of school emergency envelope repair work including roofing, masonry and window replacement work for various schools throughout Queens. Managed all operations associated with the removal of asbestos containing materials and lead paint associated with schools program. Coordinated the close out of documentation associated with all construction executed such as warranties, guarantees and final certifications.

PSI, Inc. (1999-2000 and 2000-2001)

Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, Asbestos Surveys/ Inspections, NY, NJ, CT, MA: Project Engineer for UST removal/closure, SPCC Plans, soil and groundwater sampling, drilling supervision, report generation. Senior Technical Professional for Environmental Site Assessments, responsible for business development, proposal and bid preparation, project budgeting and oversight, quality control, client relations, collections, and development and oversight of junior staff members.

Miller Environmental Group, Inc. (1999-2000)

Oversight of Remediation Projects for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Brooklyn, Queens, New York, NY: Project Engineer responsible oversight of remediation projects for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, involving remedial design, spill/emergency response, soil and groundwater sampling, drilling supervision, report generation.

GC Environmental, Inc. (1998)

Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Ardsley, NY: Project Engineer responsible for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, drilling supervision, spill/emergency response, UST removal/closure, well monitoring, report generation.

Pan African Resources Corp., and Golden Star Resources, Ltd. (1995-1998)

Various Exploration Projects, Mali, Eritrea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Suriname: Project Geologist responsible for all aspects of mineral exploration including mapping, soil sampling, stream sediment, sampling, trenching, deep auger drilling, reverse circulation (air rotary) drilling, diamond drilling, core logging, data interpretation, report generation, three-dimensional orebody modeling, resource estimate calculations.
