SUMMARY: Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. I established a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders and spare parts to maintain historical data. I upgraded the equipment on the Tetra Pac filler machine to increase efficiency by replacing the PLC and AC drives with Allen Bradley components and rebuilt an outdated Scholle filler machine through the process of ingenuity and redesign. I possess strong electrical experience of 30 years with a background of Allen Bradley PLC and drives, Reliance PLC and drives and Westinghouse PLC and drives. I worked my way up through the industrial field since 1985 as a shift electrician to the position of maintenance manager. I have experience with all phases of various electrical test equipment as well as vibration analysis and infrared machinery. Electrical components were upgraded throughout the plant from old Westinghouse TECO drives to Allen Bradley drives by my direction. Multiple safety and preventative maintenance programs were set up. Prepare reports; analyze data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems. Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
