Qualifications:

I am an energetic Military Veteran, having completed a 20 year career in a constantly changing operational environment. Promoted 9 times, I worked for and received a merit promotion to officer status after 10 years of enlisted service.

My assignments included Division Officer, Department Head, and Officer-in-Charge positions where team building and cross functional cooperation were keys to my success, leading as many as 180 men at any given time. My career focus included manpower management, personnel administration, educational services provider, career counseling, transportation, recruiting, performance management, payroll, coordination of visits by high ranking military, politicians and foreign dignitaries, custodian of classified material, and shipboard gunnery. I received numerous personal decorations for superior leadership including the Meritorious Service Medal.

Since leaving the military, I have continued to expand my very well rounded background in operations management, sales and sales management in both union and non-union environments. I have been described as one who gets things done and an effective trainer who relates easily to employees at all levels.

Recent Work History:

General Manager and District Manager, Shred-it, Concord, CA. Branch management, promoted to multi-location management providing business services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area managing 28 routes, 16 direct reports and 50 additional employees at two office and three warehouse locations. Ensured DOT and OSHA compliant operations

District Sales and Service Manager; Supply Chain Manager, Aramark, Oakland, CA. Sales and service of uniform rental and linen programs including retail sales, supervising 5 Route Service Professionals; promoted to Supply Chain Manager, sourcing products supporting a $52 million dollar, 5 branch operation; 40 direct reports SEIU and Teamsters Union employees
