RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide leadership and direction to lower tier Production Schedulers / Production Planners.

My daily duties consisted of:

· Managing, training, directing lower tiered (junior) schedulers and verifying / checking their work.

· Create program schedules (e.g. GANT and PERT charts), Milestone definitions, system release specifications and tracking metrics.

· Creating Critical Path Schedules (CPS) identifying potential bottlenecks for estimating New Project Management, establish program Risk Analysis (RA), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Project Authorizations (PA’s), Program Budgets, and Tracking Existing Projects.

· Managing the Shop-Floor Inventory through MRP, MRPII, JIT, Capacity Management, Lean Manufacturing, and

KAN-BAN principles.

· Reviewing Engineering Drawing and Design Changes, coordinated delivery of purchased materials.

· Implementing / coordinating Engineering Changes (ECCM) to product production line and served as Change Board Chairman.

· Creating a Procurement Plan from the Bill-Of-Material (BOM) (created BOM when necessary) to support all phases of production for all purchased parts and raw materials and Maintain Minimum Inventory Levels.

· Creating the Master Production Schedule (MPS), Master Validation Plan (MVS), Coordinating and Integrating Schedules (Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)) and Changes without impact to the Project or Production Plan to support customer and management production goals.

· Writing periodic Program Status Reports to Program and Upper Management.

· Coordinating with Marketing and Customer Services, Material Control, and Purchasing to support customer spares requirements without impacting production.

· Develop and maintain Cost Schedule Status Reports (CSSR) data for all assigned programs, and support monthly CSR (cost status report) cycle through the review and verification of Estimate To Complete (ETC’s/EVMS) and current program performance trends and analysis.

· Acting as a liaison between the Sales Teams, Forecasts, Manufacturing ,and the Purchasing Department. Evaluate sales trends, analyze Forecast Consumption, early demand change detection, review shipping dates (order fill rate).
