• Coordinated installation and implementation activities for a new liquid processing center and packaging line.

• Worked with Validation Manager to refine the process design, develop procedures, and train personnel.

LEINER HEALTH PRODUCTS, LLC 2001 – 2008

• Responsible for operating plan and budget of $15.7 million in the Garden Grove manufacturing facility; including production, maintenance, planning & inventory control and logistics.

• Responsible for operating plan and budget of the Fort Mill packaging facility, which produced 90+M bottles and 60+B blister strips annually, with an operating budget of $16.6 million.

• Oversaw 400 associates, including a manager and six supervisors, and established individual performance measures for all associates that were aligned with plant / corporate goals and objectives.

• Developed a job skills training program to improve the skill set of the packaging workforce and significantly improved line operating efficiencies.

• Developed a multi-faceted capacity plan to maximize customer service and plant throughput, setting a single-day production record.

• Developed a line performance tracking system, a real-time feedback tool and an analysis tool to identify opportunities for improvement.
