Supervised small to large warehouse operations in diverse industries. Worked with sales, purchasing, marketing operations and customer service. Oversaw shipping, receiving, order filling, health and safety and inventory control resulting in an efficient and effective logistics operation
Developed relationships with military, civilian, NATO and Afghani locals. Provided leadership and support for the organization of a spare parts warehouse. Managed warehouse fulfillment, sourcing, repair and disposal, hazardous materials and computerization of spare parts ensuring opportunities for global prosperity.
Controlled inventory for automotive and aircraft parts, oils and petroleum, electronic equipment and food for military operations. Managed mobile warehouse during military exercises which included order replenishment and inventory control functions. Oversaw an operation that provided equipment and service which ensured total customer satisfaction.
Managed company wide warehouse operations and assets. Ensured Key Performance Indicators were met. Health and Safety guidelines were administered. Initiated a redesign of company warehouse operations. Installed safe working practices and integrated a LEAN operational environment. The result was an efficient and effective logistical operation with a 33% decrease in manpower and a $39,000 increase in product availability.

Shipping Supervisor, SCM ( Walmart Canada ), Mississauga, ON 2006-2007
Managed the automated product flow of high volume, fast paced shipping department within a 1.5 million sq ft third party logistics ( 3PL) Distribution Centre. Supervised staffing, administration and motivation of up to 50 employees. Provided Health and Safety guidelines and ensured KPI were being met with timelines and accuracy levels being adhered to.

Prior to 1990 gained experience in the Canadian Armed Forces developing logistics, people and communication skills with a drive for positive change.
