Payable Web Services is a web-based online fraud protection application offering products like Pos Pay, RPP and Recon Input to its customers. PWS-M offerings can be categorized into the following services:
Check Services (Inquiry, Stop, Revoke and Photocopy). Check Services are a set of functions targeted at both Classis check and Disbursement customers to help manage their check related needs
Data Download – This a new product offered by PWS-M to both classic check and disbursements customers to download their historical data into CSV or QuickBooks format
Check Print Lite –This product is targeted for middle market customers entitled to Check Print Services. Check Print allow clients to upload their check print requests to PWS
Reconciliation Services are primarily targeted at customers who have subscribed to Account Reconciliation Services. These customers will be provided with functions like online recon reports and files, Issue/Stop/Cancel file uploads and manual Issue/Cancel data entry
Fraud services consist of Positive Pay, Reverse Positive Pay and ACH filter. These functions are targeted at bank customers who have subscribed to this service and would like to have online access to, and would like to decision exceptions that have been found during the reconciliation process.
Media Creation and Delivery services are primarily back office functions which allow bank personnel to deliver images and reports to customers on various media like CD ROM, Tapes and Transmissions
Responsibilities:
• Gathered requirements during inception phase, documented and delivered functional specification documents
• Acted as a liaison between the business unit and the development team and served the mission-critical function of understanding the specific business needs, determining and documenting accurate requirements and presenting these requirements in a manner that is agreeable, measurable and flexible enough to meet project needs.
• Communicated regularly with users to determine system needs and translate these needs into functional and/or technical requirements.
• Interfaced with business users to prepare and update Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Ensured all artifacts complied with corporate SDLC Policies and guidelines.

2. Created mapping documents to map the source data to the target data. Reviewed flat files from the source application to ensure correct mapping of the data into the corresponding fields in the PWS tables
3. Created Action Items and held meetings to resolve the issues related to the conversion
4. Interacted closely with the Product, Operations and the Project Manager to discuss various
gaps and issues involved in the conversion.
5. Created business rules for the conversion.
6. Validated that the source data has been loaded into the mapping tables with Toad.
7. Validated the profiles to ensure that the profiles have been converted successfully.
8. Validated different screens to ensure that all the fields are parsing correct data.
9. Validated the profiles with different cycle frequencies to ensure CDs are
being burned with correct data.
• Involved in validating that the customers are getting billed for the services that they are entitled to.
• Involved in validating the daily, monthly and the MCD billing codes.
• Ran SQL queries in Toad to validate the billing volumes.
• Worked on the PWS-Chase Online integration. The objective of the project was to deploy an integrated solution for fraud protection services including Pospay, RPP, Recon Input, Online Enrollment and billing. The line of business was Commercial and business banking customers.
• Implemented a new product called ‘Data Download’ for the Chase customers. Customers entitled to this product would be able to download their historical data into CSV or QuickBooks format.
