Secured competitive funding sources. Brightgreen had no relationships with correspondent investors or warehouse lending facilities. Secured advantageous investment deals based on attractive pricing. Secured short term, revolving credit warehouse lines. Ensured a broad and competitive range of loan programs for customers.

Established competitive tool for attracting customers. Introduced policies and procedures for locking loans and created lock desk at Brightgreen. Established use of pricing software to minimize loan costs and properly time loan locking decisions. Established loan lock confirmation process for borrowers. $75M+ locked pipeline resulted in over $500K in monthly revenue.

Created sales initiative that added “found” revenue. The bottom line suffered from Brightgreen’s holding a group of loans unsellable to the usual markets. Established competitive bidding relationships with broker / dealers willing to purchase loans for resale. Saved Brightgreen up to tens of thousands of dollars on each sold loan.

Orchestrated shift to new market. EquiFirst had committed to refocusing from the non-conforming mortgage market to federally insured products. Competitively priced and managed a $500M pipeline in the new market segment with locks averaging $18M daily.

Structured prices to ensure success in new market. EquiFirst’s business model shift to government insured products required attention to sensitive pricing decisions. Played key role in creating FHA-insured product pricing models, hedging platform and correspondent investor relationships. Achieved $200M in monthly funded loan volume at a premium that exceeded both company goals and industry standards.
