Research Experience and Research Interest
Five years of theoretical research experience in the field of “Relativistic-Laser Plasma Interaction” during PhD with research topic “Study of Nonlinear Wave Phenomena of a Short Pulse Laser in a Self Induced Plasma Channel” under supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Varshney and Prof. (Dr.) Meenu Varshney. During this period especially worked on relativistic self-focusing of linearly and circularly polarized laser beam in plasmas, nonlinear propagation of intense laser in plasma channel, studied different regimes of propagation, propagation of beam using density ramp functions, propagation behavior in magnetized plasmas, relativistic and relativistic-ponderomotive cases, parametric instabilities in plasmas etc. For analytical formulation and simulation of mathematical equations computer oriented numerical methods, Scientific software’s MathCAD, MatLab, ORIGIN Professional, SIGMA DRAW, SIGMA PLOT and programming languages like C / C++ are used. These studies have direct applications in high-energy particle generation, inertial confinement fusion, particle acceleration, harmonic generation, X-ray emission, in medicine or life science. The results reported have been either published or communicated in various international journals, proceedings and conferences. Along with above-mentioned areas, also interested for doing experimental or theoretical research, relevant to the field of High-Energy Physics, Nuclear Fusion, Accelerators and Astrophysics.
Four month experimental research experience at “UGC-DAE Consortium For Scientific Research, Indore” Formerly “IUC-DAEF (Inter University Consortium-Department Of Atomic Energy Facilities)” with research topic “Preparation and Characterization Of YBa2Cu3O7- and NdBa2Cu3O7- High Temperature Superconductors”, under supervision of Dr. G.
