• Manage chemical supplies for all 4,000 Wal-Mart and 600 Sam’s Club stores.

• Responsible for $217,000,000 in indirect spend for all Wal-Mart store formats.

• Responsible for over 900 item categories for chemical and janitorial supplies.

• Directly supervise one Sourcing Coordinator that performed issuance of POs, supplier product shipments, and store assistance as part of the tasks and duties assigned.

• Responsible for approximately $7,000,000 in cost saving initiatives.

• Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics for continuous improvement initiatives

• Lead in supplier cost and process improvement programs with assigned suppliers that included Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) rationalization, bid analysis, New Product Introductions (NPIs), KPIs, and additional activities as needed.

• Search for new products that are sustainable, green-sealed, and environmentally as well as looking for new suppliers that have new innovative products or ideas. .
