This includes procurement of all raw materials utilized in induction melting, process changes, advising heat treat procedures and quality assurance. Other key responsibilities are overseeing no bake sand system and sand lab. Changes needed to gating and risering to produce sound castings. Metallurgical reports including certification for customers and follow up to quality issues. Supervision of laboratory technicians, furnace operators, iron pourers, and shift personnel.
