PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

General Motors Corporation – GMS Integrator / Sr. Industrial Engineer 1998-Present

• Instrumental in utilizing facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations in Production.

• Developed assembly work instructions with visual aids and incorporating Inspection points to eliminate defects in the process.

• Instrumental in driving continuous process improvement to rebalance the processes in Production resulting in savings of over $25 million dollars for the plant. Prepared Microsoft Project schedules to track all activities to ensure objectives were met.

• Worked with Launch Teams to successfully prepare assessment test procedures for the implementation and testing of Common Quality Error Proofing (CQEP) Systems throughout the general assembly areas in various plants of the corporation.

• Initiated waste reduction process in the general assembly areas saving the corporation thousands of dollars annually.

• Instrumental in launching and implementing the new processes of the Platinum Cadillac SUV throughout the Production floor.
