• Review service and maintenance records to determine the root cause of a particular problem

• Prepare reports used by clients to assist in their efforts to lower costs and maximize uptime of their medical equipment

• Develop effective PM schedules needed to comply with all governing bodies and applicable laws

• Review and critique plans related to medical equipment asset management

1984-2003: US COUNSELING SERVICES:

• Provided medical equipment cost reduction programs to healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical companies

• Developed several operational systems for the delivery of services to clients. Most significant was the Help Hotline which reduced costs and maximized equipment uptime by working with hundreds of service engineers and managers from manufacturers, independents, and in-house service groups.

• Developed/presented training materials used by internal staff and customers that aided in the goal of clients receiving quality service, on a timely basis, and at a reasonable cost

• Developed reports used by pharmaceutical clients helping them in their equipment certification and validation efforts

• Final position was VP of Vendor Relations working with hundreds of vendors providing service on behalf of mutual customers

1981-1984: ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL: Coordinated medical device evaluations, facilitated problem resolutions, and interacted with the medical and nursing staffs as a Clinical Engineer to address their medical equipment needs.

PERSONAL INTERESTS: I enjoy playing golf and watching football, baseball, and hockey. I am very involved in our local church and love to sing in our choir. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family.
