Background
US NAVY 2002-2007 as a Master at Arms
2002-2004 Security forces Bahrain. Naval Security Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Officer.
• Conducted over 1500 vehicle searches and 3000 personnel searches entering and exiting Naval Support Activity, Fifth Fleet, Bahrain, UAE.
• Escorted 140 missile and weapons through Bahrain in a military convoy in joint force with air force and navy personnel.
• Supervised 48 personnel and managed over 7 entry and exit control points to naval base, coordinating training drills with real life scenarios.
• Hand picked to help set up and provided landside force protection in Jabal Ale for first military presence in that area of operations.(AOR)
2004-2007 Mobile Security Squadron Seven Detachment (Det) 71, Anti-terrorism Force Protection, providing high level security to naval assets throughout the Seventh Fleet and Fifth Fleet Area of Operations. Proficient with small arms and security procedures.
• Worked with and over 84 person security detachment. Supervised 35 personnel and worked with a $156,000 budget.
• Security in Zamboanga, Philippines, conducting anti-terrorism/force protection on Camp Navarro, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines compound and personnel escorts from compound to airport. Personnel escorts to and from Manila, PI.
• Landside Force Protection in Papua New Guinea, for the first US naval ship to conduct port visits in over 15 years, providing support for humanitarian relief efforts.
• Force protection onboard United States naval ship Mercy during Tsunami relief efforts, conducting personnel escorts in Banda Ache, Alure, Sumatra, Neias Indonesia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, and Thailand.
• RAVEN Mission, Jakarta, Indonesia, providing security for 15 Air Force personnel and two top secret US aircraft.
• Security onboard USNS High Speed Vessel, providing force protection while patrolling Philippines and Indonesia.
• Provided security during four month deployment for Iraqi oil platforms which provide 90% of Iraq’s gross national product.(GNP)
• Trained Iraqi Marines in anti-terrorism force protection procedures to assume security duties on two oil platforms.
• Two months in Kuwait conducting force protection procedures on Kuwaiti Naval Base, conducting over 200 personnel searches and 150 vehicle searches.
Skills
• Navy Criminal Investigation Service Non Lethal Weapons Instructor, Collapsible Baton Instructor, Pepper Spray Instructor, Navy Criminal Investigation Service Counter Surveillance certified, trained in Riot Control Procedures.
• Weapons Line Safety Coach for the 9mm, M16, M-4, Mossberg 500 shot gun, M203 grenade launcher, 240 machine gun, M60 machine gun, 50cal machine gun, and Mark 19 grenade launcher, Iraqi 50 cal.
• Detachment 71 training team, training over 100 personnel on search and seizures. Independent remote site set up procedures, field CPR tactics. Tactical convoy training for over 30 personnel, and for certified chemical, biological and radiological equipment and procedures.

Interests
• I have enjoyed my time in the Navy and working in the force protection field. I would like to find a job that I can use the skills and education that I have acquired in the military.
I am 6 4 250 lbs. I like anything out doors, hiking, fishing, riding horses, and working out. I have been in the gym working out since I was in high school, so that is one of my passions. I would like to have a job that does travel and so that I might see the parts of the world I have not seen.
