Manufacturing Operations Manager (MOM) Contractor

• Conducted 292 “Manufacturing Operation Audits” (08-09) in 67 facilities in the NE, MA, and SE regions of the United States. Traveled extensively, efficiently coordinating all arrangements and appointments.

• Improved quality and efficiency, lower operational costs and eliminated wastes through training and subsequent on-site auditing of manufacturing plants with regards to production and process management, equipment calibration, maintenance, sanitation, documentation and distribution.

• Assisted plant managers in developing and implementing “Corrective Action Plans” in order to drive audits to zero demerits. The result was an overall improvement of 45% in subsequent audit scores.

• Developed a 13 week partnership plan with eight central manufacturing facilities in 2010. At the completion of these partnerships the facilities were audited and found to be 100% compliant with Dunkin specifications and standards. Conducted 26 “Manufacturing Operation Audits” with non-partner manufacturing facilities. Developed a training and maintenance program for an automated proofer which is used in many facilities.

• Completed 49 Full Producer surveys in the Mid-Atlantic in 2011. Due to the success of the 2010 Partnerships Dunkin Brands allocated resources to provide support and training to these smaller manufacturing facilities. The surveys were designed to develop relationships and to collect vital data.

Plant Manager (Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, Facilities and Distribution)

• Directed 2 supervisors and 22 hourly associates in a 24/7/364 manufacturing operation, consisting of production, sanitation, maintenance and distribution. During a 4 month period I was able to reduce the hourly associates by 28%.

• Achieved 100% on-time delivery and operational costs while ensuring food safety by effectively managing labor, quality, safety, customer relationships, inventory, ordering and vendors.

• Oversaw employee training with regards to workplace safety (PPE and OSHA) as well as food safety requirements.

• Motivated and kept employees engaged in the mists of a notice that the manufacturing facility was going to be closed down within a five month timeframe.
