Successful Project Controls Manager with 20 years experience on large projects ($63M to $3B) nationwide and in Iceland. I have demonstrated expertise in the management of the project budgets and schedules on multi-million to multi-billion dollar projects for large industrial Project Management firms. I am capable of supervising the multi discipline Project Controls Team.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor project controls team.

• Participate in the scoping requirements for each discipline and coordinate the acquisition of scope definition. Review design scope criteria against labor and quantities for accuracy.

• Plan, coordinate and establish the pricing structure, the WBS structure and levels of quantification appropriate for each discipline to perform Earned Value Management, schedule resource loading and productivity reporting, as well as variance reporting requirements.

• Supervise the development, implementation and maintenance of the Project Integrated Master Schedule

• Identify and review contingency requirements and areas of risk.

• Establish and supervise the mechanisms for tracking scope changes and trends, and backcharges.

• Supervise cost reporting and scheduling for compliance to industry/company standards. Responsible for the development and the accuracy of cost reporting and schedule maintenance. Responsible for issuing client and management reporting.

• Prepare cost studies utilizing historical cost and performance data from similar projects.

• Prepare, review and develop a basis for measurement of Distributables, Construction Equipment and Field Non Manual support.

• Supervise the collection of outstanding or unusual events in anticipation of claims.

• Integration of vendor and subcontract information into cost accounting system and schedule.

• Prepare and review project cash flow, in conjunction with procurement, engineering, construction and all applicable disciplines.

• Prepare Historical Cost Reports for project and participate in Lessons Learned sessions to develop process improvements for future projects.
