• Advising the Court where the child intends to appoint his/her own Solicitor

• Safeguard the interests of the child and advise him/her

• Investigating all the circumstances of the case by: Interviewing the child, parents, carers, extended family, professionals involved with the child, any other person with an interest in the child.
