Product Engineer

Led table top review of all drawings, specification, Purchase Order (PO) and SOW with customer to get a clear understanding of what the customer wants, needs and / or requirements for all NPI’s. Created Work Instructions (WI) to fit all requirements. Led meetings with internal engineering team to task out specifics in programming, SMT, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and testing requirement. Determined and ordered all chemicals and tooling needs; in some cases roughly designed tooling for tooling engineer. Worked with Program Manager (PM) to determine the time line of readiness per customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Communicated with customers to determine documented language and alternate materials to their drawings and specifications to meet their goals in lowering cost and increasing production while maintaining quality.

Assisted with accounting to accurately quote Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s) and box builds; this includes updates to customer drawings that may effect the pricing of the original quote.

Worked with quality to review all internal released documents to ensure requirements are being met per customer drawings, specifications, PO, s, SOW and deviations.

Process Technician held lead role in monitoring processes and initiate improvements to reduce cost and increase productivity using Demand Flow Technology and Just in Time principles. Utilize Statistical Process Control tools and Kanban principles to guide manufacturing towards higher quality standards in a TL 9000 manufacturing environment.

Secondary role; coordinated and prepared product transfers in and out of the facility, which includes proto-types and NPI and product validations. Created process documentation and verify that existing documents are consistent with the current work methods. Pilot Catastrophe Services: 2002 to July 2007

Position: Certified/ Licensed Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster

Responded to catastrophes around the US to assist policyholders with their property insurance losses. This involved initial contact with the policyholders, setting up appointments, assessing the damage to covered property, writing an estimate, documenting all activities associated with a claim, and providing customer service throughout the entire claims process.
