GRW Inc. Engineers, Architects and Planners, Lexington, KY: Worked as a designer, drafter, graphic designer and project manager from May 2007 until January 2012. Worked on multiple projects including two federal prisons, one Kentucky DOC facility, an historic theater, an Illinois National Guard readiness center and a private residence.

University of Kentucky, Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Worked summer 2005 and summer 2006 as a station manager for summer advising. Helped manage more than 250 students and parents on campus each day. Also oversaw other team members, assisted with class registration, gave tours and answered questions about the University.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

NCARB Intern Development Program: Have nearly completed all required training hours in the Intern Development Program. Plan to begin studying for and taking portions of the Architect Registration Exam within the year.

University of Kentucky College of Architecture: Was involved in a cross-cultural campus planning project between the University of Kentucky and IEC college in Yatsushiro, Japan in fall 2005 and spring 2006.

Trinity Hill United Methodist Church, Lexington KY: Participated in a 7-day mission trip to Cortezar, Mexico in June 2008. Hosted Vacation Bible School for local children and performed building maintenance for the local Methodist church.
