Human Resources Director (1996 to 2009). Utilized previous sales and marketing experience to recruit and retain staff by growing one company from 14 to over 200 employees while handling the recruitment efforts for another start-up company. This position relied on my documentation and attention to detail in order to support company hiring and discharge decisions. Responsibilities included:
HR Generalist - Accountable for the human resources for multiple business units of education and counseling services companies - boarding school, wilderness program, and long-term program for “at-risk” youth which operated 24 hours a day, year-round with 215 employees.
Responsibilities included Full Cycle Recruitment, New Hire/Orientation, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Handbook/Policies and Procedures, Performance Evaluations and Staff Development, Governmental Compliance, Legal Compliance, and Employee Relations.
Successfully represented companies in NLRB, ERISA, EEOC, Wage and Hour Divisions, and GA Composite State Board of Medical Examiners investigations and audits. Completed HR elements of IRS audit and JCAHO accreditation. Annual compilation and filings of US DOL/EBSA Form 5500, EEOC Reports, and OSHA Form 300.
Directly supervised 5 office staff.

Bachelor of Arts, Political Science. Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. 3.5/4.0 GPA in major. Financed 100% of education. General Manager of WRAS-FM - Responsible for the operations of the Georgia State University radio station. Supervision of all completed documentation to FCC for license renewal. . Honors include Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities and Scholastic Honor Awards.
