Resident Engineer / Site Superintendent 2007 - 2011

• Performed technical direction on projects for the relocation of 1500mm diameter & 2000mm diameter pipelines.
• Supervised in laying down 200mm diameter to 6000mm diameter Asbestos Cement pipeline for an underground cooling system in the heart of the city for the Dubai Metro Transit System. The pipe ducts were laid down with the help of microtunneling in the city and under water at a cost of CAD$ 135million and maintained weekly reports of the site progress.
• Supervised in Laying down 3000mm diameter pipeline during the construction of a new Sports City within the city limits and pipelines were laid under major highway through microtunneling.
• Supervised construction of plant room building, cooling tower, and underground water storage tanks, energy transfer station & pipeline network.
• Supervised the relocation of 1000mm diameter 1200 diameter DI line in Downtown Sharjah around the creek, major road crossings and parking lots through microtunneling.
• Supervised Water Transmission within the city. (Project Engineer)
Project Engineer / Site Superintendent 1999 - 2006
Transco (Government of Abu Dhabi Water Authority), Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
• Supervised over 300km Water Transmission Pipeline to Reservoirs & Pumping Station over head tank in progress.
• Was in full control of design and supervising in laying down a 250km DN1600mm diameter Pipeline from a newly built residential town to an Intermediate Pumping Station & Reservoirs also with the help of microtunneling wherein pipes had to be laid at busy road crossings and highways at a cost CAD$ 50 million and prepared weekly report on the progress and handed to over to the authorities.
• Completely designed and supervised in building up a major Pumping Station in the outskirts of the city to supply water to 8 towns, 3 intermediate pumping stations in major towns and 1600mm diameter pipeline of 450kms to supply water and pipes were laid under highways and crossings with the help of microtunneling at a total cost of USD$ 6 billion in a time-frame of 4 years and prepared weekly report on the progress and handed to over to the authorities.
• Supervised in laying down a 300km 1000mm diameter pipeline from a Pumping Station to another Pumping station and 2nos. 5ml gallons and 2nos. 7.5ml gallon of Reinforce Concrete reservoirs with the major use to microtunneling at crossings and highways at a cost CAD$ 75 million.
• Supervised in laying down a 150km DN1000mm diameter Pipeline for an intermediate pumping station.
• Completely took charge in supervising in a major project which was to install Gas Chlorination System in all Residential and Commercial Units in Abu Dhabi.
• Supervised construction of Water Transmission Scheme in a developing city and laid down 1600 diameter pipeline of 200 kms within the city and microtunneling was a major requirement.
• Supervised Rehabilitation & Replacement of twin 900 diameter D.I. Pipeline Work at the Old Water mains outside Abu Dhabi Island to 1000 diameter pipeline.
• Supervised in all types of Water Pipeline Ductile, Carbon Steel Polyurethane Pipe up to 1600mm diameter in Abu Dhabi & Western Region.
• Supervised Water Supply to Sea Palace of the President of U.A.E. and laid Copper Steel Pipe in Sea Bed for Island, Pumping Station for a new Palace.
• Fire Hydrant System for the President’s 12 Palaces in different locations within the country.
• Supply Water for and island for the President’s Palace and farm house.
• Supervised construction of 2 x 7.5 m1 gallon twin reservoirs in from the city main reservoirs to a major island for a major development project and Cathodic Protection Pipes were laid connecting the pumping station with the help of microtunneling.
