OBJECTIVE:

Being endowed with the traits of strong willpower and patience I want to achieve a sustained platform in the field of geology by developing myself as a person of multidisciplinary approach.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Master of Science M. Sc. (Applied Geology) from Department of Applied Geology, Barkatullah University, Bhopal in June 2011 with 1st division marks.

• Bachelor of Science (Hons.) B. Sc. (Geology) from Department of Geology Aligarh Muslim University in 2009 with 2nd division marks.

• Intermediate from U.P. Board in 2005 with 1st division marks.

• High school from U.P. Board in 2003 with 2nd division marks.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS/SEMINARS:

• Field training work in bundelkhand region after IIIrd Semester of M. Sc.

I have visited the different places in bundelkhand region in Jhansi. It was totally exposure of bundelkahnd massif craton and It was igneous exposure mostly of granite. I have study the lithology and mineralogy of that area. I have also visited the mining area. It was of diaspore mineral.

• Field training work in and around Bhopal after Ist Semester of M. Sc.

During my field training programme I have visited different places in Bhopal and study the lithology of that area and determine the dip and strike of the bed of the rocks, mostly sedimentary rocks are found in this area .there was a contact between Deccan trap and vindhyan super group. Deccan basalt is also found in this region .geological mapping and traversing is also done with the help of map, geological instrument like brunton compass and GPS.

• Attended seminar on “Awareness Raising Training Programme: Hydrology project-2nd by CGWB ministry of water resources,Govt. of India, North Central Region Bhopal” in IInd semester of M. Sc.

• Study of the mining area in Rajasthan in B. Sc. 3rd year: A field training which is conducted in the Rajasthan for studying the lithology and mineralogy, different types of mineral is found in this area.

• Traversing of the area in Rajasthan in B. Sc. 2nd year: This is a training by which we locate the area through bearing as forward and backward bearing with help of brunton compass and GPS instrument and study the lithology of that area.

• Field work in Rajasthan for identification of lithology of that area in B. Sc. 1st year: Study of the Structural feature of the rocks i.e. fold, fault and determine the dip and strike of the rocks, mostly sedimentary rocks are found in this area.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Microsoft Office, Basic internet application.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Instruments: GPS, Use of clinometers, compass and brunton and making slide.

• Laboratory Experience: Hand specimen study, thin section slide study.

• Quick learner and flexible to work in any kind of environment.
