AVP-Project Manager
Project Manager responsible for the successful delivery of technical projects. Currently a member of the Treasury Services Line of Business interfacing with Enterprise Computing Services technical teams, Sr. Management, business and other technology support teams to establish, prioritize and achieve project objectives.
• Orchestrated large scale critical path Enterprise Release IT projects from the ground up. Provided product analysis, hardware/software procurement, infrastructure support, vendor relationships, staff management, systems and business requirements, user acceptance, and report generation.
• Managed enterprise-wide server consolidation cutting operating expenses by $2M/year to support shared assets and resources for multiple business entities across various lines of business.
• Managed staff of 18 in large scale Real Estate project to consolidate internal teams, over 5,000 users in strategic sites while migrating 4.5 terra bytes of data and refreshing user desktops resulting in a $1.5M reduction in annual costs the first year.

Sr. Manager- Project Implementation
Managed a twelve-member Program Office team responsible for a $20,000,000 annual budget. Project scope included the delivery of Voice, Data, Video, LAN, WAN, VoIP Toll Bypass and Cable solutions for all Infrastructure driven initiatives. I interacted with Senior Management and Partners to ensure that all projects were delivered in a timely manner, meeting established standards and within the budget constraints set by the Firm. Supported over 25,000 users nationwide.
• Created new Implementation Project Management Team. These efforts and vision led the team into a number of non-traditional areas such as Circuit Inventory, Asset Management, Lease Return Processes, Rightfax deployment and Video-A/V solutions.
• Managed the migration of Data Center infrastructure from Northeast location to Tampa facility.
• Initiated and completed financial analysis of leased network equipment that saved the Firm $8.7M over a three year span. This process is now the model used by Finance/Asset Management.
• Managed Firm acquisition projects. Responsible for the implementation of Server, Data/Voice/Video infrastructure associated with bringing new offices up to Firm standards.
• Initiated national Circuit Audit project recovering $3.2M from Telco vendors.

• Completed Y2K inventory and analysis of all Data/Voice and Video network equipment in all Branch offices and National Call Center to ensure they met all requirements.
• Devised Test Plan to ensure all network equipment met Y2K requirements.
NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH 1994 to 1998
Manager-Network Operations, Dunedin, FL
Managed all activities related to Nielsen's voice and data networks, encompassing planning, direction and Network support. Developed goals and objectives to identify and suggest solutions for business needs and opportunities, maintaining security and integrity of the networks, and provide quality network services to meet the requirements of Nielsen's present and future needs. Supported over 5,500 users nation wide.
• Eliminated over $800,000 of outdated capital equipment by successfully introducing switched 100BaseTx Ethernet and fiber optics (FDDI/CDDI). Overall throughput was increased by two orders of magnitude by eliminating shared network segments while eliminating low-usage DECNet and LAT protocols, several serial links, and token ring.
• Expanded remote access modem pool from less than 50 ports to more than 500 ports to support customers, telecommuters, and operational data collection. Introduced ISDN and digital modems for faster, more reliable access.
• Converted a traditional fractional T1 WAN to frame relay in six months resulting in 50% lower costs, improved availability, and higher customer satisfaction.
• Converted traditional analog voice circuits to PRI services nationally over a period of nine months resulting in 40% lower cost, improved availability, expanded features and higher customer satisfaction.
• Implemented all data and voice installation requirements for three new 500+ seat offices. Projects completed on time and under budget.
• Eliminated mainframe terminal controllers by migrating users to PCs substantially reducing maintenance and support costs and increasing user capabilities.
