I was assigned a task to lead the project immediately on my start with Invensys Operation Management. Without any training on Invensys products, I successfully carried out engineering which had a combination of FCS DCS, Triconex safety system, Simulation software, Display Manager & Fox View for HMI. I quickly learned all software products & delivered project activities within time frame. I successfully leveraged project managers transition period to contribute project to greater extent. I communicated well to external stake holders as well for technical query & resolution. My efforts were well appreciated by immediate management & end client.
Invensys rolled out new tool IEW for engineering optimization & I got opportunity to use such tools on one of my ongoing project. With limited resources & schedule, I had to deliver Triconex based project. Online trainings helped me to understand tool but version change in tool itself was a big challenge, I RESUME

worked hard by putting extra hours every day & weekend as well. With limited knowledge base available for that tool version I achieved final deliverable with trial & error method. Supervised a team of 4 engineers for 3 overseas mega projects whose outcome was high quality deliverables (engineering, documentation, scheduling, estimation, resource management, FAT, SAT & commissioning support) which resulted in meeting projects deadlines well ahead of schedules
Engineered 5 overseas projects with respect to complete project life cycle whose output in terms of customer appreciation letters in the area of green field projects
Commissioned nearly 12 different units of different plants supporting Foundation Field Bus, HART, Dry Function Test, FAT, SAT, Startup work because of which company fetched more projects

A couple of noteworthy achievements were as follows.
In Qatar with challenging weather conditions, I was assigned a task of site support engineer for one field auxiliary room out of 12 different FAR’s. Due to my field instrumentation & control system knowledge, I quickly gained a place in the core central team. Initially I was supporting the commissioning team for different areas & dry function tests however my curiosity drove me to lead the troubleshooting team for foundation field bus; HART based instrumentation & other regular commissioning activities for EPKS DCS, Safety Manager & HMI. I worked seamlessly with a Shell Global consultant from Honeywell side to reduce many field issues which ultimately helped keep the overall project on track. I took extra efforts to document all those troubleshooting activities which added to our knowledge base.
