to restaurants.
Point of Sale Supervisor * September, 2004 – November, 2008
Responsible for delegating and maintaining projects with the daily operations of the Point of sale
department.
* Led an installation team of 11 technicians and executed processes for the hardware platform replacement across the resort operation of 912 terminals. Providing a more rugged environment with suggestive selling guest display screens on each restaurant register podium, to generate increased profits and customer service.
* Wrote a 472-point specification list in the request for proposal (RFP) process to replace software in the restaurants resort wide. Resulting in the selection of a new vender with functionality and features for training and stability.
* Tested, selected and pitched new register hardware in both the restaurants and stores totaling 259 locations.Presenting the opportunity to test ergonomics, durability and functionality on all angles.
* Interviewed, placed and trained technicians in the point of sale department. Developed a team of six cross-trained professionals who maintained software, register hardware, network cabling and wireless, and menu configuration. The team successfully came in before time on all events throughout the year and replaced a whole resort of hardware in beating the install record three times.
