• Successfully negotiated a Net Worth Deficiency Corrective Action Plan acceptable to the TennCare Division and the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.

• Oversaw Claims and Finance Departments. Successfully managed the Claims Department through a backlog due to significant membership growth and staff turnover, and demonstrated the improvement to the Department of Commerce and Insurance and TennCare Division to avoid financial penalties.

• Coordinated the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors, and presented financial results to both the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors.
