Responsible for the daily operations of the AP Processing, Vendor Management, Check Processing and AP Analysis groups including: supervision of staff, administration, hiring, training and development, budgeting, productivity, quality management and business process improvement.
Promoted to Manager /Accounts Payable in 3/2007 and Director in 4/2008
Selected accomplishments:
• Initiated and implemented internal and external operations training programs for staff members, leading to 100% staff retention rates.
• Worked with management team as a key member on projects including: Sarbanes-Oxley assessment and remediation; Oracle conversion, upgrades and enhancements; expansion of EDI and other electronic commerce; workflow design and implementation.

Department was responsible for researching and performing merchandise invoice matching, POD processing and handling all vendor correspondence issues.
Promoted to AP-Merchandise Payables Supervisor in 2001 and to AP-Manager position in 2002
Selected accomplishments:
• Implemented new productivity reporting for timely associate feedback and departmental planning,
increasing productivity and accuracy rates by 30%.
• Responsible for department’s effective software conversion to SAP financial module, including development, training, procedure planning and documentation
• Directly work with high volume vendors and the procurement group on account reconciliations, vendor negotiations and settlements.
Data Entry Supervisor (1998-2001)
Supervised 16 associates responsible for processing all expense and merchandise invoices generated by Corporate and Retail Stores (six million invoices annually).
