The Group’s principle activity is to manufacture and market spirally welded steel Pipes.
It is the India’s largest produce/manufacturer of SAWH pipes with a production capacity in excess of one million ton mark.
The Group is engaged in various types of pipes coating and pipes manufacturing activities at Daman, Vishakhapatnam, Chennai, Jaipur, Kandla, North America and Sharjah.
These coated pipes are used for transportation of gas, oil, water, and petroleum.
The turn over of the company is 2000 crore.
The MAJOR client of the company’s are GAIL, HPCL, BPCL, L&T, ESSAR CONSTRUCTION, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES,IOCL, ASSAM GAS,GSPL.
JOB PROFILE:-
Presently working as a Engineer (Quality control) in PUNJ SONS & LLOYD (PSL) LIMITED. Here we are responsible for doing various types of testing which is being done in our central laboratory which is now a NABL Accredited. I am also responsible for maintaining and improving quality activities at the site .we need to comply for the documentation as per requirement of API, ASTM, IS, ISO standard.ALSO DONE TESTING FOR NACE.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
Done B.TECH (Mechanical Engineering) from KRUPAJAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BHUBANESWAR affiliated to BIJU PATTNAIK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, ROURKELA, approved by A.I.C.T.E, New Delhi with CGPA 6.80 in 2008.
Done 10+2 from Indian school of Learning, Dhanbad, affiliated to C.B.S.E board with 57% in 2003.
Done Matriculation from Indian school Dhanbad, affiliated to C.B.S.E Board with 58% in 2001.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
Did “AUTOCAD” from “CENTRAL TOOL ROOM AND TRAINING CENTER” BHUBANESWAR.

Here we have developed a plastic key ring mould using conventional Turning, Milling, Grinding and CNC milling at “CENTRAL TOOL ROOM AND TRAINING CENTER”, BHUBANESWAR.
