Hewlett-Packard, Software Designer 2003-Present
Originally hired by Trulogica as a QA Tester, but the company was quickly acquired by Hewlett-Packard. The product was Open View Select Identity, a J2EE identity management application running on Weblogic, Websphere or jBoss.
• Developed new features for Select Identity.
• Developed pluggable Java modules to be used in Select Identity.
• Acted as desktop admin for QA group.
• Worked with customers to resolve critical support issues in a timely manner.
• Provided onsite technical expertise for several pre sales customer engagements including multimillion dollar deals.
• Demonstrated Identity Management suite of products and features to customers, both internal and external.
• Worked as the first “mentor” for Select Identity to ensure successful customer deployments and train the HP deployment team on the job.
• Reviewed technical documentation to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Installed and maintained enterprise operating environments containing SSO applications, web servers, app server clusters, databases and directory servers, all configured for secure operation.
• Trained new hires on the Select Identity application.
• Developed Java web application for internal use tracking and reporting for QA.

Fuego, Inc. Plano, TX Senior Java Integrator 2000 – 2003
(Since acquired by BEA – FUEGOBPM is now AqualogicBPM)
Originally hired as a Java Integrator to develop and integrate customer specific java components into Fuego’s Business Process Management software.
• Researched, designed, programmed, tested, and integrated many internal business processes such as: Customer Support, Knowledgebase, Customer Registration, Invoicing, Expense Reporting, and Labor Tracking using Fuego’s proprietary internal language, which is similar to VB or Java.
• Defined and programmed detailed automated reports providing detailed analysis from the internal processes for Senior Executives and Management.
• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and tuning Fuego’s Production and Pre-production environments which consisted of: processes, components, web pages, Oracle database, Resin web server, IIS, Netscape LDAP and FuegoBPM software.
• Worked closely with developers in Argentina and Mexico to debug issues and find a quick workaround or fix for the problem.
• Responded to customer inquiries and worked with them to debug problems and find a resolution to their issues or questions.
• Visited customer sites to answer questions regarding FuegoBPM software and deliver proper methodology to develop processes.
The Vaughan Group Web Design and Development 2000 – 2003
This web project was the redesign of web pages for a remodeling contracting company called The Vaughan Group. The pages were created using HTML and a text editor. I incorporated JavaScript into the pages to give the pages additional functionality and a professional appearance. The website can be viewed at http://www.thevaughangroup.com.
• Maintaining of the website, weekly backup of the information gathered from the forms, and updating the pages as needed.
Forgotten Kingdoms MUD Creator and Programmer 1999 – 2006
Designer, programmer, administrator, and Senior Lead of the innovative coding team for the Forgotten Kingdoms role-play MUD. This successful online game was written in the C programming language on a unix platform and then ported to C++.
• Incorporated Java applications to support the mud and to help create the on-line world which it occupies.
• Designed, developed, and integrated a comprehensive set of web pages at http://www.forgottenkingdoms.com to enhance game play.
