led a wide variety of projects involving application development, service implementations,
upgrades and migrations on multiple platforms. My strengths are leadership, project

Avis Budget Group (Consultant), Parsippany, NJ

Project Manager
Strictly adhering to the PMO life cycle, managed multiple projects for a leading car
rental/leasing company that included:
- Multi-million dollar transition of 70+ applications (custom built, package & web based)
after the split of the former Cendant Corporation. Responsibilities included:
> Coordinate deliverables from multiple Project Managers and Directors.
> Assure all Licensing of software applications have properly been transferred.
> Closely monitor project scope and time lines.
> Coordinating the move of all hardware.
> Create and maintain project plans for all software applications being transitioned.
- Managed migration of in-house Kronos Time Management system to the web based ADP
Enterprise eTime (Time and Labor Management) system saving, at a minimum, $750,000
annually.
- Managed the FileNet Content Management team on new custom development and support of
existing applications, working hand in hand with customer base on content and priorities.
- Extensive use of the MS Office Suite, MS Project, Clarity and SharePoint.

Project Manager(Consultant)
As a sub-contractor to IBM Global Services, managed multiple projects for A&P’s
decommissioning program to migrate applications from the mainframe saving millions of
dollars. Applications included re-writes and enhancements to in-house custom Western Union
Cash Transfer Audit, Store Statements, Vendor Invoicing and Bank Reconciliation. Other
packaged applications included Risk Management, Inventory and Time & Attendance systems.
Worked closely with the PMO in defining deliverables for each phase of the A&P Project Life
Cycle assuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
Responsibilities included:
- Preparing project plans using MS/Project.
- Assigning and monitoring work load of multiple Oracle, SQL/Server and Mainframe OS/390
analysts, developers and testers located locally and off shore.
- Understanding the long-term business objectives and suggesting technical strategies to
meet those objectives.
- Ensured all custom written solutions were developed following the A&P Architecture &
Operations standards and were Sarbanes-Oxley compliant.
- Meeting with clients to gather requirements.
- Preparing weekly status reports for client and IBM management.
- Ensuring adherence to standards that have been adopted to the project.

Project Manager
Responsible for the management of all technical aspects of the PeopleSoft HRMS system
(including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Workforce Administration and Learning Management)
in an organization with 36,000 (mostly union) employees. Managed a staff of 7 full time
technical developers, 5 technical consultants and various consulting teams (IBM and
Answerthink).
- Managed successful upgrade of PeopleSoft 7.51 to 8.3 in a S/390 DB2 environment.
- Managed the migration from Unix Oracle to mainframe DB2 while simultaneously upgrading
PeopleSoft from version 7.02 to 7.51.
- Used MS Project extensively to maintain and track project tasks, holding effective status
meetings with staff and upper management.
- Created multiple RFP’s for various third party HR solutions.
- Assisted in system testing for quality assurance purposes.
- Managed and performed fit/gap analysis, business process review and multiple chain
conversions from ADP.
- Worked with department heads to streamline and enhance daily processes.
- Managed the daily support of the PeopleSoft HRMS system including new support
applications, updates and taxes.

Senior Business Consultant
Lead consultant responsible for all aspects of the HRMS system used for 35,000 employees
(staff and union) located throughout most of the United States and Canada.
- Responsible for the conversion of all payrolls from mainframe (Geac/DBS/MSA E-Series) to
PeopleSoft Client Server running on HP Unix using Oracle.
> Extensive data mapping analysis.
> Designed and coded COBOL II programs to build import records for PeopleSoft.
> Extensive use of PeopleTools Import Manager, Data Designer and Panel Designer to
populate employee tables.
> Wrote SQL queries for verification of imported data.
- Hands on team leader of five senior consultants for the assignments and follow-up on
Geac E-Series payroll system.
- Converted Tropicana and Seagram Canada to Geac payroll.
- Provided extensive functional support to the payroll department which included general
“how to” on system features and transactions.

- Project Lead responsible for all activities relating to the DBS Payroll/HR System.

Senior Project Manager
Overall responsibility for the payroll and HR systems in a multi divisional corporation with
30,000 staff and union employees located through out the country. Managed a staff of five
analysts and programmers.
- Responsible for the RFP preparation, Gap Analysis, selection, conversion and
implementation from a centralized MSA mainframe system to a DBS THR PC based
Payroll/Human Resource system.
- Managed all aspects of the DBS (MSA) HRMS System utilizing Payroll and Human Resources.
> Performed all technical functions required for system updates, regulatory changes and
new releases.
> Designed, coded (in COBOL) and implemented custom interfaces between MSA and various
General Ledger and time reporting systems.
> Developed benefits systems for savings, medical/dental and salary administration.
> Developed consolidated extracts from MSA to 3rd party administrators.
> Provided application support to payroll and human resources users.
> Performed Payroll Manager functions at local divisions when required.
