· Long term projects with; Nissan, Metaldyne, Noble International, Pullman Industries, Benteler Automotive, Continental Teves, Eaton, Johnson Controls, and TRW Automotive. Upon completion of some of the projects I have been brought back to the same company or contract houses for a different projects.
· Was assigned lead Quality Engineer for an annual $39 million program as a contractor.
· In eight months at Benteler Kalamazoo, saved $3.1 million in shipping cost annually. At the same time got the parts sourced with a higher quality supplier. I was also involved in supplier cost recovery of over $3.7 million with various suppliers in the same period of time.
· In just over a year cleared up 20 assembly systems past due PPAP’s (past system fill) for over 16 million in tooling money.
· Developed and trained a supplier quality department of five Supplier Quality Engineers in Mexico. Two years later four of the five are still in place.
· Reviewed all internal production systems and suppliers processes for mistake proofing to corporate standards.
· Supported launches with on site supplier assessments and directly resolving quality and delivery issues.
· Handled suppliers going through emergency shut-downs and emergency re-sourcing business without shutting down OEM customer.
· With Johnson Controls completed full APQP launches of many multi million dollar programs on time.
· Supported and delivered PLUS (JCI APQP) Deliverables as required. Developed Quality Objectives, developed MSA plans and managed gauging budgets, managed suppliers APQP, handled supplier development as required, lead PSO’s to customer, lead supplier PSO’s, and managed all AAR and PPAP submissions for the programs thru launch completion.
· Took over supplier PPAP’s for carry-over components and launches Continental Teves Las Colinas plant in Mexico where they were in total disarray and corrected to OEM customers satisfaction.
· Implemented an annual cost savings of $125,000, by negotiating a reduced daily/shift destructive testing, with customer approval without a price reduction.
· Managed suppliers to meet timing deadlines for supplier launches and PPAP’s.

· Coordinated, implemented and launched WJ Fascia sequencing JIT assembly production move from New Baltimore Operations to Westland and received PPAP approval.
· Plant Program Manager responsible for APQP for the plant, gage design and build, coordinated prototype builds, coordinated production intent testing, and developed and coordinated documentation for PSO books and PPAP for ’01 & ’02 WJ Fascia and ’02 KJ Fascia. ($100MM in programs). Maintained programs significantly under budget ($100K). Managed supplier to meet timing deadlines.
· As Plant Supplier Quality Engineer initiated supplier cost recovery and in three months recovered $100K. Ran supplier PSO’s, approved PPAP’s and did supplier visits.
Consulting and Contract Projects 1994-1999

· At one point was supervisor over 165 hourly UAW operators, 2 Zone Coordinators and 8 Team Coordinators were also direct reports.

· Was instrumental in reducing JD Powers score by over 20 points. Reduced In-System Damage by 30%.
· At Auto Alliance International, reduced the monthly supplier quality report generation from four weeks to one. Developed a database to track ISIR progress for the upcoming launches.
