Currently seeking a position that allows me to keep a full time status and also be able to spend time with my new baby and family.

As a full time manager at Trader Joe’s I have been able to learn many new tasks such as opening and closing the store, closing the books at night, dealing one on one with employees and also customers. I have also had the pleasure of working with a wonderful management team who has taught me how to grow and take on higher responsiblites such as in store event planning, merchandising, display planning and execution, creating orders, and deposits. On top of learning all office and store related tasks, i have been involved with developing and reviewing the crew. To Trader Joe’s our crew is the glue, without them we wouldn’t have much.

I also place all orders, collect all payments, receive orders and work with the customer service center in dealing with customer returns, exchanges or problems. I also and attend monthly meetings, conferences, and dinners.

Trained clients, sold personal training packages, consistantly hit my quota which was depending on the month, anywhere from $3,000- $10,000,set up in club events for trainers and members, assisted in payroll and supply orders, performed monthly tracking of training sessions sold,used and frozen, filled in when the fitness director was off or at meetings, trained new trainers, and taught classes to new trainers.

Started out as a crew member and within 2 years worked my way up to management by 19 years old. Was trained in proactive management and food regulations and well as dealing with a bi-lingual crew. Opened and managed the store on the weekends while going to college. I would handle the morning money count and bank run, count inventory ,food orders some scheduling, plan and run the day shift. I was in charge of the daytime customer service and any equipment maintenance that needed attention.

Very well organized, excellent in time management, and computer literate in many programs including PC and Macintosh, very comfortable in handling money. Excellent oral and written skills I get along with others in many types of situations, I am able to approach a problem or situation with a positive attitude. I enjoy working in the company of others and learning from my colleagues examples. I also believe acting upon a situation before it becomes a problem.
