This project involves building of a Data Warehouse solution to meet the various requirements of Valeant Pharmaceuticals Sales depots, which are located across the country. The basic requirements for Valeant Pharmaceuticals with respect to sales and distribution are Stock availability across location and products, Sales reports, analysis, Inventory Management, Order Management, Customer Accountancy and Sales.
Role and Responsibilities:-
• Understanding the Business requirements, Involved in Designing and Configuration of Business Intelligence Server Repository as per Business Needs and improving performance.
• Extensively used OBIEE Administration Tool for Customizing and modifying the physical, business model, and presentation layer of the repository.
• Creating the Dimensional Hierarchies, Level Based Measures, Time series -Functions, Initialization Blocks and Variables depending upon the need for Business Reports using the OBIEE Admin tool.

Trade Promotion Management (TPM) allows for planning and tracking of marketing expenditures throughout the Marketing program lifecycle. TPM is the foundation for closed loop marketing as it will enable analysis of forecasted spend vs. actual spend. Benefits can be measured by being able to plan for marketing expenditure downstream more effectively while allowing world-wide collaboration in the creation of marketing programs and campaigns. The different TPM entities are Initiatives, Funds Allocations, Programs and Campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding requirements and customizing the Repository to meet the requirements i.e., Physical Layer, Business Model & Mapping and Presentation Layer level
• Drill down Hierarchies and implemented Business Logics and Facts.
• Created Identified the Dimensions, Developed the repository model for the different work streams with the necessary logic that involved creating the Physical, BMM and the Presentation layer. Also created hierarchies, variables in the repository.
