Combined and sorted data of grocery stores and bodegas in nine precincts of NYC to create random samples. Collected and recorded fruit and vegetable supply data in low-income neighborhoods by conducting in-person interviews and questionnaires.
Cleaned and exported Access data to SAS data file. Conducted statistical analysis and tested regression models on supply data with SAS & SQL, and prepared the data for further research needs on public health issues.
Participated in workshops including SAS, GIS and PubMed.

Worked with Dr. John C. Bernard on a master's thesis of marketing and consumer behavior study in food industry. Designed questionnaires and collected data by conducting economic experiments on 128 subjects in Newark, DE. Participated in another experiment in Athens, GA.
Cleaned and analyzed data with SAS and SQL. Built Tobit/Logistic regression models to identify the factors that influence consumers' choices. Creatively constructed the food fashion involvement scale in which factor analysis and correlation analysis were used. All the data analysis were conducted with SAS/Unix, intensively applied SAS SQL.
Thesis presented on 2011 AAEA (Agricultural and Applied Economics Association) & NAREA (Northeastern Agricultural and Resource Economics Association) Conference at Pittsburgh, PA.
Examined whether the increase of whole food stores would influence the number of farmers markets in the northeastern states with SAS/Unix correlation and regression analysis.
Worked on a project examining the relationship between oil price fluctuation and exchange rates using time series analysis. Analyzed data using SAS/Unix with time series model.
