Summary of Projects
1. Health Care Publication
Client: Thomson Reuters, US
Duration: Jan ‘10 – Dec ‘11
Description & Role:
1. Thomson Reuters releases four health care publications that are LOS(Length of Stay), MS-DRG, US Profiles and Source Book every year based on the US region, age, category wise data from the hospitals and Medicare Diagnosis related group. Publication use the corporate database as an input data and the process filters the real data using the 4GL programs and scripts and produce the data in PDF formats
2. My role is to analyze the current year requirement and prepare the content specification and technical design document for the requirement and modified the programs based on the requirement and generates the output and finally verify the data.
3. Design, develop & implement cron at job scripts for scheduling Level 0 backup, Logical Log Backup.
4. Find the dbsize and dbspace for the particular database and allocate to create database.
5. Change the fragment size based on the records.
6. Create a new database and with permission for the authorized user and load the data.
Software Products: Informix 4GL 11.5 using Informix Dynamic Server 11.5 and Unix Shell script and C shell.
2. Bought Ledger & Sales Ledger & Production
Client: AlphaGary, UK

Description & Role:
1. Bought ledger and sales ledger was already exist in COBOL and the entire system has been migrated into Informix.
2. My role is to analyze the process of the system and discuss with the client and get the confirmation and enhancement. Allocate the work to the team members, monitoring the day to day process, testing and deliver.

3. Ware House Management System.
Client: AlphaGary, UK ( Onsite)
Duration: June ‘07 – Sep ‘07
Description & Role:
1. Ware house management system was handled by manually and I have developed the new system to handle the production of new items and stock transfer from one batch and rack to another, dispatch, PI checks and keep track of direct and indirect productions.
2. My role is to analyze the problem in real time environment, production support, design the system and write the source code and compile the programs, interact with the users and resolve the problems in the live environment. Give the immediate rectification of bugs and satisfy the users.

4. Production Planning System Improvements
Client: AlphaGary, UK
Duration: Aug ‘06 – Till Date
Description & Role:
1. Production Planning system, which is database software developed by COBOL later it was migrated to Informix 4GL. The proposed system need estimation process, Raw material allocation, and new orders and run time calculations of the plant.
2. My role is to analyze the problem, production support, design the system and write the source code and compile the programs, impact analysis and problem resolution for this change and interact with the client. Also needs to implement, test and facilitate the deployment of the system in the live environment.

5. E-Administration System
Client: Field Gun Factory.
Duration: Jan ‘05 – Aug ‘06
Description & Role:
1. E-Administration system, there is a need to convert all the administration work to be computerized using Informix 4GL using Informix Dynamic Server 7.30. The strength of factory employees around 2500 and this system considered all types of employees such as workers to Officers.
1. The system consists of Personal system for all employees including the family details; leave maintenance system, General provident fund maintenance, Leave Travel Concession maintenance, Temporary Duty advance maintenance, Advances like festival. HBA, Vehicle, Factory Order generation, Employee training details, Contingent bill generation, Cash Office like Receipts, Payments, Cash book entry, Bank reconciliation etc. cash flow.
2. Responsible for understanding current architecture of administration and hence to develop the system. Proposed resolution plan for the reported bugs to the user delivery, validate the bugs, understand the problem, found the root cause and proposed the resolution plan & time scale to fix each bug.
3. The system consists of 380 tables and each table is interlinked with any of the manner. Forms and reports are given to the users for generating the applications and printing the reports.
4. My role is to analysis the problem, production support, design the system and write the source code and compile the programs, generate the separate login for separate users, propose the change specification, impact analysis and problem resolution for this change. Also needs to implement, test and facilitate the deployment of the system in the live environment and give the necessary training to the users.

6. Production and Planning Control System(PPC)
Client: Field Gun Factory.
Duration: Apr ‘03 – Sep ‘04
Description & Role:
1. PPC package is database software which has been developed ten years before, it handles all the phases starting from getting order to dispatch the materials to the customer. It consists the eighteen modules which are Database, Warrant Release, Purchase order and planning control, Inventory control, Quality control, Forecasting the system, Machine maintenance, Material Control, tool control, Payment analysis and so on.
2. This project involved the system study of the entire services running on the live environment and development of the web based system to access the information gathered for the local intranet used by our factory. All the information gathered from the live systems are stored in the database and accessed via web interfaces.
3. My role in this project was to involve in the production support, design of the system and to implement the complete system as per the design. Proposed resolution plan for the reported bugs to the user delivery, validate the bugs, understand the problem and find the root cause and proposed the resolution plan & time scale to fix each bug.
4. Generate the reports and modify the existing system according to the user requirements. Was responsible for Machine maintenance and inventory control and generate the PSL for every month and prepare the payment for every month.
