Objectives
To be part of a team where I can contribute to the overall objectives of the team and in doing so, learn and expand my knowledge base in an industry that demands professional, safe, and skilled tradesmen. Dependable. Goal Oriented. Open minded yet Safety Conscious. Will seriously consider relocation.
Skills/Qualifications
2nd Generation Ironworker - Steady work as a Union Apprentice for 2 1/3 of 3 years, I did not complete the apprenticeship program as I had recieved an offer for work, pulling me from the union, therefore, forcing me to attain NCCER Certifications in both Industrial Ironworking and Rigging thru the CEF, or, Construction Education Foundation.
Minor Mechanical/Oiler, I have assisted in mechanics work both on and off site, including, but not limited to, an on site differential removal on a Link Belt 300t conventional crane including the build up and down, on sometimes 2 and 3 day intervals, of conventional cranes to aid in the hanging of tower cranes and/or pre cast/tilt wall sites. All the way down to a 3 ton derrick mounted on top of building to dismantle a 400 + ft tall construction hoist.
I have gained Operating experience in near all crane types, including Forklifts, from some of the best Operators in the Mid South. Eventually leading to Relief Operating for seasoned operators when the erections and dismantlements slowed. Semi Truck experience as well but limiting to in yard/on job maneuvering - not over the road. NO CDL.
Rigging/Crane Erect/Dismantle & Jacking/Field Maintenance , started as an early teen chasing my Dad around during summers putting 10 disputable years experience under my belt. Coming up as a pre-teen chasing my dad around until, in 2003, I signed up at Local Union 263, starting a 2 1/2 year stint of Ironwork, leading me right back to Cranes/Rigging for the better part of 4 years.
Tower Crane manufacturer experience starts out with, and in order my most favorable, Liehberr. Continuing on with Terex-Peiner series (formerly Pecco) , Comedils Luffing and Fixed, Wolff, Linden/Comansa including inverted jib style, Favelle/FAVCO TG series, and special breed, Sun Tower Cranes and Luffers, all being pretty involved at respective times. Hoist experience Erect/Dismantlement excluding electrical on Champ, Alimak, Pega, and Hercules Hoists in excess of 700ft with and without an assist crane.
