My view on Montessori has been evolving as I progress in my training. From the previous understanding of Montessori philosophy was integrated curriculum and child centered activities plays to now understanding the importance of normalization and holistic development of child. It is an on going learning process for a teacher and we learn each day from the child when we follow them.

It is for this reason I have decided to pursue my training as Montessori teacher, which started in February, 2011. Trained from the very best Ms. Kitty Bravo and Tim Seldin, I am well prepare to do my internship.

I heard about positions in this school and with my intensive training, I know I can be great candidate for your school. For past one year, I was working as a teacher in kindergarten. I am eager for an opportunity to expand as a professional.

As a psychology major worked with children effectively to produce the effect of positive words among children.

Designed activities to develop children’s finer and gross motor skills as well as their thinking skills.

Worked efficiently with senior teachers and followed instruction.

The major skill I will bring to this institution is my perseverance and passion for education. I am a fast learner with strong communication and organizational skills. I want to evolve from an entry level teaching position to professional certified teacher in the course of future. I believe that with integrated learning models children can learn efficiently.
