PROJECT MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS

• Successfully directed (on-time and on-budget) simultaneous projects to design, supply and commission complete automated control systems for the Gateway Energy and Coke Company 120 Oven Heat Recovery Coke facility (SunCoke Energy) and the adjacent USS Granite City Works Powerhouse #3 80 Megawatt Cogeneration facility. • Provided concurrent project management over dozens of automated assembly systems for a custom machine builder in the automotive industry, while simultaneously serving as operations manager for the company.

• Responsible for the complete design, build, installation and commissioning of a $10 million automated refrigerator door foaming system for Electrolux Home Products Refrigerator plant in Greenville, Michigan, which met the customer’s schedule and production requirements.

• Served as the ‘Responsible Engineer Coordinator’ for the $270M Comsigua Direct Iron Reduction Facility project, monitoring the procurement activities for Kobe Steel being built in Puerto Ordez, Venezuela, and establishing standardized specification guidelines for future projects.

• Other projects include the Alcoa Prototype High Pressure Aluminum Extrusion system, a Lear Industries Automotive Carpet Backing System, a Howmet Dover Casting Investment Casting Furnace, a Bayer Chemical Laboratory Polyurethane Test Unit, the Uniform Color Company Twin Extruder Vent Vacuum System, a coal refuse slurry pipeline and conveyor system, numerous polyurethane injection systems and several coal facilities.

KEY DESIGN QUALIFICATIONS

• Directed the complete design for reduction furnace area of Comsigua Direct Iron Reduction Facility, being built in Puerto Ordez, Venezuela.

• Provided the lead for establishing the prototype design for the Alcoa high pressure molten aluminum extrusion system
