CAREER HISTORY
2009-2011: Global Linguist Solutions, Falls Church. VA
Performed translation and interpretation services to the US Task forces and other duties also supported the US Task Forces missions in non-green zones.
Supported Task Force groups commanders and troops in their mission in Iraq.
2008-2009: Combat linguist and personal security detail to the commander on countless direct action missions in Northern Iraq as a member of Other Coalition Forces, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assisted in the translation of Sensitive Site Exploitation documents and media, allowing the Task Force to effectively exploit targetable information, resulting in the significant degradation of Al Qaida in networks throughout Iraq. Managed over 15 interpreters and assigned them to different units to provide translation and interpretation services and cultural advice to their commanders.
•2007-2008: Combat linguist for US Special Forces advisors to Iraqi Counter Terrorism Force (ICTF); linguist skills greatly increased effectiveness of multi-lateral operations as well as Iraqi Special Operation Forces capabilities, resulting in the capture or killing of over several hundred insurgents. I managed over 25 interpreters and assigned them to different units to provide translation and interpretation services and cultural advice to their commanders. During my deployment I was always assigned to work with the troop Sergeant Major and the Company commander and provided security for then during their weekly meeting with their Iraqi counterparts.
•2006-2007: Combat linguist for US Army Special Operations Forces, ACo,1stBN, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Commander’s In Extremis Force. Responsible during the conduct of combat assaults for sensitive site exploitation, tactical interrogations, as well as liaison functions with Iraqi Ministry of Interior and Defense. Translated and presented intelligence briefs to co-workers, supervisors, and Other Coalition Forces, greatly enhancing the cultural awareness and language proficiency programs for US Special Operations Forces. Taught Arabic at the Robert Deek’s Language Center for the 5th Special Forces Group.Previously in Baghdad i worked as Personal Security Detail providing high & low profile protection including escort duties of Government officials as well as 5th special forces group commanders
