Meet twice a week with HHC Nurse to plan trainings for children and staff , vision and dental screenings , physical and immunization checks etc, Schedule dental hygienist and dentist ( every 6 months) to do dental work at school on children’s teeth once permission slips were signed by parents, Attended team meeting for special needs children to update on progress, follow IEP’s if needed to provide continued services, all other requirements necessary for me to assist staff and provide families with the best possible care for their children. Daily interactions with legislatures, community, and parents as well as visitors and other outside agencies.
