EXPERIENCES

Chemistry: Performed a routine and stat analysis, utilized Beckman Coulter LX20 PRO, Beckman Coulter DXC 800, Beckman Coulter Unicel DXI 800, Beckman Coulter Access 2 (Immunoassay System), Beckman Coulter IMMAGE (Immunochemistry System), and ROSCH ELECSYS 2010, ABBOTT 1MX, and ABBOTT TDX.

Hematology: Performed manual and automated hematological tests using Coulter GEN*S

Coagulation: Performed a job on coagulation analyzer (BCS), STAGO (Coagulation system), and AUTION MAX to analyze Prothrombin time; Activated Partial Thromboplastin time; fibrinogen (quantitative); and D-dimmer assays.

Microbiology: Routine microbiology procedures including accessioning, reading gram stains and culture plates, and organism identification.

Blood Bank: Routine blood banking procedures; antibody screening, cross matching etc.

Virology/Serology: Used IMMULITE 1000 system, and ETI-MAX 3000, and Gen-Probe etc.

Management: Familiar with laboratory policies; general laboratory safety; OSHA Standards for blood borne pathogens.

Medical Technologist I. In Microbiology Department. Main responsibility reads and records culture results for all blood cultures, sterile body fluid, catheter tips, wounds, and miscellaneous cultures from sterile sites. Performs identification and susceptibility procedures. Enter preliminary and final culture report in to computer. Assist technologist 2 as time permits. Perform concentration procedure for pending eggs and parasites examination ast time permits.

July 2005/ Dec 2005 -Invitrogen life technology, Frederick, MD. Manufacture technician, Main responsibility, Oligonucleotide synthesis on the Jurassic machine. I.e. DNA Synthesis and RNA Synthesis.Trityl measurement and analysis by spectophoto metry.Solution preparation for pre-synthesis.
