Administrative Assistant/ Parts Clerk – 1st Cavalry Division M113 FOV Reset
Managed, organized and maintained equipment folders including the DA Form 2404 deficiency reports, 5988E parts requisition reports and for Technical Inspections (TI). Researched National Stock Numbers for parts required to correct the deficiencies from the TI reports submitted by technical inspectors. Inventoried new parts and determined whether orders were filled completely by verifying incoming parts with original orders, made records of shipment and reported updated data to Production Control and supply personnel. Solely responsible for bulk ordering parts according to the demand of the service department of the reset. Organized and kept inventory of $1.2 million worth of parts for the service department. Accountable for pick up and inventorying of all repair parts from multiple warehouses for over 400 vehicles. Performed walk-through requisitions and regularly interfaced with Item Managers to obtain rare and short of supply repair parts. Inventoried and labeled parts as they arrived from military personnel. Issued recoverable parts as well as completed vehicles back to their designated units.
